Join me in my life of a regular Singaporean. Where there is nothing to do but shop and eat.
I am a 25 year old fresh IT grad searching for a career in a highly competitive market.
At the moment I spend most of my life in front of my laptop.
The internet is my currency to the world while I have none to spare ($$$).
Read my thoughts and opinion. My triumphs and my breakdowns.
I do not seek to inspire or beg to be praised.
Simply my honest takes and I am all there is.

.::New Year's Eve::.

In light of the Tsunami incident, Channel 5 won't be airing A Nation's Countdown on tv tonite. Instead it will be replaced with 'One Fine Day'. This is not the original announcement. I've rephrased it of coz.

That means i wont be able to watch Taufik Batisah perform! I'll miss the Idol finalists too! Daymn! What a bummer for a homey girl like me who will be spending New Year's eve as usual like she's done before in her entire 19 years of life which would be snoring on her warm bed. No one would ever catch me dancing in a club or catching a foam party anywhere in the world. I'm just not that type of girl...

In short, i never celebrate the New Year. It's just a day in the calendar which has no significance in my life. Since it's all about making resolutions which i wouldn't follow anyway. I change when i feel like it. Not on any specific day such as this. I'm never good at following resolutions or even daily schedules. Not even tv schedules. Something distracting would usually come up and divert my attention away from em. So there..there's absolutely no reason for me to be celebrating the day.

What have this girl been doing today. Well since it's been raining the whole day, she's been basically at home. Watching dvds [her favourite past time], eating, sleeping, studying abit and painting her nails. Sounds boring? To you maybe if ure an outdoor person. But not for me. I enjoy my privacy and solitude.

My parents would be out the whole night. There's some activity [basically prayers and preaching] going on at Al-Istiqamah mosque for the haj pilgrims for January. They're part of it so they'll be back after Subuh tomorrow.

What i've been up to lately? I've been trying to apply as a primary school english medium teacher at the NIE. No, I haven't submitted the online form yet. Maybe tonight.

till then,

Here's from me wishing everyone around my part of the globe...

HAPPY NEW YEAR
!!!
